春节的时候包饺子那才叫热闹呢!一家人聚在一起，男人和小孩在客厅里玩耍、拉呱;女人们则在一旁拉着家常。一直玩到傍晚，才开始准备包饺子的馅料和面团。包饺子正式开始时，已是华灯初上的时候了。女儿们和儿媳们个个心灵手巧，一边闲扯家常，一边手上不停。手指翻飞间，一个个饺子初具雏形，密密麻麻地排列着。
该是下饺子的时候了，摒弃了平常用的煤气，而是启用了逐渐淘汰的灶台。大锅里倒上满满的一锅水，灶台下柴火烧得正旺，风箱被拉得呼呼作响，饺子被一个个地赶下了锅。这时，小孩子按捺不住好奇心，也要跑来帮忙拉风箱、添柴火。饺子煮好了，孩子们的手和脸也变黑了。
饺子真正上桌的时候，已是晚上八点多钟了，这时春晚也开始了。男人们在大厅里划拳喝酒，看着春晚，一片热闹;女人们则在厨房另拼一桌，轻声细语地扯着家常，一片温馨。农村有个习俗：女人是不能上正桌吃饭的。
即使过了那么多次春节，也仍然忘不了那袅袅蒸气后那些朦胧的脸庞，忘不了饺子入口时那一刻的温馨，忘不了春节那和睦的气氛。
